I've had this image in my head for a long time. However, I just couldn't do it justice. I may try again some time but, for now, I fear ruining what progress I made by fiddling with it too much.

The mannequins and male figures were rendered in DAZ|Studio and then combined with a stock photo for a background. I then filtered and fussed to give a more illustrative look to the image.

Interesting concept and I think you have done a reasonable job. If you aren't happy with it maybe you will come back to it again in the future. I know there are plenty of pieces I have noted down somewhere for future exploration. That said, you are obviously light years ahead of me. So I should have just said what I originally thought, which was that I liked the concept and thought you had conveyed a sense of "isolation" and despair effectively.

I also like that you use discreet watermarks. The experience of viewing many images here on DA is ruined by overly visible watermarks. I think places like dA are as much (or more so) about sharing as they are a marketplace.

Thanks! I definitely have it in mind for perhaps tackling in a whole other style later. The 3D was just a very convenient way to get it out of my brain quickly so it would quit obsessing about it.

Yeah, I try to make them as discreet as I can. Some images, though, if I make them too transparent, you can't read them. That kind of defeats the purpose of making my art identifiable.
